Do you know what God has done for You?

God is the Creator of all things and you are a one-of-a-kind creation of God.

God created you in His image so you could have fellowship with Him.

God wants you to love and praise Him and to have a personal relationship with Him.

When your life on Earth is done, God wants you to live with Him forever, in heaven.

But there is something that keeps us apart from God....

"All (people) have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.: Romans 3:23

God Hates sin so our sin separates us from God. God is Holy and man is sinful. We cannot have a personal relationship with God or be allowed in heaven with him unless we get rid of our sin.

Sin must be punished because God is Holy and just. We cannot do anything on our own to erase sin. There is only one way God will take our sin away.

Jesus is the Son of God the Father and has lived in heaven with God from the beginning. Just over 2,000 years ago, Jesus left heaven to come to Earth to be born as a baby. Mary was his mother and God is His Father. Jesus lived a sinless life on earth telling people how much God loved them.

When Jesus was 33 years old, He allowed Himself to be nailed to a cross because sinful men wanted to destroy Him. While Jesus hung on the cross, He took upon Himself your sin and everyone's sin. As Jesus hung on the cross, God poured out his wrath against our sin and placed it on Jesus. So, Jesus took the punishment for our sin and died on the cross. But Jesus did not stay dead. God raised Jesus from the dead!

Jesus stayed on earth for forty more days and was seen by many people at different times and places. Then Jesus returned to heaven to be with his Father where He is today. Because Jesus took our sin and the punishemtn of our sin, God can offer to forgive us. Part of the gift of forgiveness is that we can spend eternal life in heaven. We are nolonger separated from God.

But like with any free gift, you must accept God's offer. It's your choice.

You can recive God's offer, or you can reject God's offer. What must you do to receive God's gift of mercy and love?

You recive God's offer of forgiveness and eternal life by trusting Jesus.

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me." John 14:6

You must want to turn from your sin, come to Jesus Christ and trust Him alone to take away your sin and give you a new life on earth and in heaven. The choice is yours: You can trust Jesus Christ and spend eternity in heaven with God, or reject God's offer and spend eternity in hell separated from God.

1. Admit that you have sinned and need God's forgiveness.
2. Believe that Jesus died for you on the cross and that God raised Him from the dead.
3. Tell God you are trusting Jesus, and Jesus alone, to take away your sin and make you acceptable in heaven.
4. Invite Jesus Christ to come into your life; tell God you want to follow Jesus.

"Dear God, I have sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and that You raised Him from the dead. I trust Jesus and Jesus alone to take away my sin and give me eternal life. I now invite You to come into my life. I want to follow Jesus Christ. I pray in Christ's name. Amen"

John writes in the Bible: "But these (miracles) are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name." John 20:31.

This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life with Christ.

Here are some things to help you grow in your relationship with Christ:

1. Read your Bible every day.
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
3. Tell others about Christ.
4. Worship, fellowship and serve with other Christians in a church where the Word of God/Christ is preached.
